Keoladeo Ghana National park, better known as Bharatpur is one of India's best places in winter to sight spectacular varieties of birds in the wetland. Bird watchers who frequented Bharatpur recall the golden years of the wetland where they could sight thousands of Greylag Geese and ducks amongst other winter visitors to the park.

India's golden triangle is a tourist circuit which connects the national capital Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The Golden Triangle is so called because of the triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a map. The trips usually start in Delhi moving south to the site of Taj Mahal at Agra, then west, to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan.

Leh, a high-desert city in the Himalayas, is the capital of the Leh region in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. Originally a stop for trading caravans, Leh is now known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas.
